Pick of the week: Two video tutorials
Coming back from a few days in Madrid (pics will follow soon) i had to review all what happened in the twitter sphere - from this i want to recommend you two very interesting tips:
In the first tutorial i find it very intersting, how the HSL level at lightroom are used (done with a very redish night-shot as a starting point). Also he shows a nice usage of a gradient to bring out the model better:

The second video is a Plearn video (if you dont know Phlearn yet, jump over and drown into high-quality tutorials of photoshop, lightroom and photography in general!). It shows how you can dodge and burn using the High Pass filter:
